Do I need an account or subscription?
No account is required for the currently available free tools. The site does not charge per document download.
Are my documents uploaded to DocuHeroes?
The editor is designed to process documents in your browser. Some third-party services on the site, such as advertising infrastructure, may process usage or device data. Review the Privacy Policy for details.
Can I edit text already printed in a PDF?
The current editor adds new text and other elements on top of a PDF. It does not directly rewrite existing PDF text.
How do I add a signature?
Open PDF Editor, select a signature tool, and draw, type, or upload a signature as available. Place and resize it on the document before downloading. A visual signature is not the same as a managed electronic-signature workflow with identity verification or an audit trail.
Why can’t I select some text in my downloaded PDF?
Some custom-font and advanced-formatting additions are exported as images to preserve their appearance. These additions may not be searchable, selectable, or accessible to screen readers.
How do I save and resume a draft?
When available, enable saving unfinished work on this device and use Save draft now. Resume the draft from the same browser and device. Browser storage may be cleared by the user or browser, so download important finished documents.
What if my PDF won’t download?
Try again once, check your browser’s download permissions, and confirm the file format is supported. If the editor remains stuck, avoid clearing browser data until you have recovered any saved draft. Report the problem through Contact.
Does DocuHeroes permanently redact confidential information?
No. Placing a colored rectangle over information is not secure redaction. Do not rely on visual overlays to permanently remove sensitive data.
Why are there empty advertising spaces?
The site includes advertising placements. Actual ads may not display at all times, including while an advertising provider is reviewing the site.
How can I report a bug or accessibility issue?
Email [email protected]. Describe the browser, device, tool, and steps to reproduce. Please do not send sensitive documents.
